Dear Priyanka,
It seems you have missed your periods. Before inducing your withdrawal bleeding, you should get your
pregnancy status confirmed. You have following options:
1. Perform pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample a week after missed period; earlier the test may report false negative.
2. You may opt for
Beta hCG test on blood.
In fact missing a period is the first cardinal symptom of pregnancy. The other symptoms which start about 8-10 days later are:
1.
Nausea and
vomiting with pica.
2. Frequency of urination.
3. Breast symptoms : engorgement and tenderness, dark discolouration of nipples &
areola with widening of areola & Montgomery's tubercles under the areola and secretions from the nipples.
If your tests and symptoms diagnose you as 'non-pregnant', you may take some progestational preparation like Deviry for 5 days; then within 4-7 days you will get withdrawal bleeding.
If you are pregnant, you can opt for medical termination of pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation with the advice of your Gynaecologist.
I hope this helps you.
