Suggest Whether Stress Test Or Ultrasound Test Is Advisable With Regard To Knee Replacement
I have a ejection fraction of 30 % which was by a stress test,, So surgon woundn t do my total knee replacement...My heart doctor says the altrasound in more effective and the stress test is un reliable and gives false readings ,,Could this be true. Altrasound says 55%
echo-cardiography or ultrasound is also taken in rest and stress echo as per indications and are more diagnostic than TMT or stress test alone as you probably mean. An anesthesiologist should evaluate if knee surgery can be undertaken in EF 30% or not alonwith opinions of cardiologist and orthopedic surgeon in conference
