Sustainable Soiling On Wrist, Diagnosed CRPS. Noodles Found In Chest CT Scan, No Cancer In Biopsy. Treatment?
respected sir my father 70 yr old is having sustainable soling in right hand up to wrist. he was admitted in Kailash hospital noida up for 15 days. dr says it CRPS diseases. resulting he adv mri of hand, brain, spinal contrast ct of chest, ultrasound of abdominal, heart test, etc but not able to diagnose the exact disease. however in chest ct scan noodles in were found. then dr adv for biopsy of noodles. that results no cancer. still soiling is persisting . there is a pain in hand. in which hospital i should take him for treatment. pl advice. lt col brijesh 0000. mumbai, colaba.
CRPS usually follows trauma or nerve damage,did he had such kind of injury. If doctors are not getting diagnosis then PET scan may help in locating origin of lesion if malignanacy is suspected.
CRPS usually resolves with amitryptillin, calcium channel blockers and if required sympathetic block.
