Swallowed 6 And Inserted 2 Cytotec Pills In The Vagina. Experienced Horrible Pains, Bleeding. Pregnancy Test Still Showing Positive.

Hi, I took 8 cytotec pills. I swallowed 6 and inserted 2 in my vagina, few minutes later I started feeling terrible cramps, I threw up, then had to go to the toilet a few times and I had the worst pains of my life. The next morning I started bleeding so I took a pregnancy test two days after and its still showing positive. What should I do?

Hi,dear.First thing dont panic due to the pain because cytotec causes spasmodic contractions of the uterus for the pain take any mild painkiller it will help you.And regarding your positive pregnancy test let me tell you in detail.When ever a women is pregnent there is a hormone named HCG,it raises in our body and can be detected in urine.So urine preg test asses presence of HCG and gives result accordingly.After an abortion it takes 4 to 6 wks to lower down the concentration of HCG ,so meanwhile preg test will show positive results.so do not worry drink proper water and eat healthy food and stay happy.get well soon.
