Swelling And Pain After Fall, Cracking When Bending Knee

I FELL DOWN WHILE RUNNING. AT THE TIME, THERE WAS NO BRUISING BUT I WAS IN SEVERE PAIN. IT STARTED SWELLING THE NEXT DAY. I HAD GONE TO THE HOSPITAL A FEW DAYS LATER AND THE DOCTOR SAID IT WASNT BROKEN AND THERE WAS JUST WATER ON THE KNEE . THAT WAS 4 MONTHS AGO. IT RECENTLY STARTED CRACKING ANYTIME I BEND MY KNEE AND SLIGHT PAIN. I HAVENT DONE ANY SPORTS SINCE THEN. I AM 28, 6 3 220 LBS.

It might be meniscal or collateral ligament injury.

I suggest you to consult an orthopaedician nearby for a detailed examination. You may get an MRI of the knee under his/her guidance.
