Swelling And Pain In Knee, Difficulty Walking, Climbing. History Of Being Thrown Off From Horse's Back. Concerning?

I am concerned about my knee pain.
Back in the last week of March, I had gone on vacation and got thrown off a horse with its back about 6 ft tall. I don't know exactly what happened because it happened so fast. I could have twisted it but not 100% sure, I do know for sure that I landed on it very very hard then rolled and hit it up against a tree. Ever since that incident my knee has been hurting significantly every day and I am unable to straighten it all of the way. Along with that there is swelling as soon as I start my daily activities. My knee gives out on me while I am walking causing me to almost fall over. One time I was stepping off a curb and it just buckled back on me but came right back. Doesn't ever get stuck in one position. Hurts to kneel, go up and down steps, walk, and do just about everything. I am wondering if I can get a rough idea of what the problem could be. Guessing I should probably go in and see my doctor but I am trying to find help to get an estimated guess at what the problem could be?

Hi,
It seems that you might be injury on ligaments, cartilages anmeniscus of knee joint.
Give complete rest to the joint.
Avoid climbing upstairs, more bending of joint and avoid squatting position.
Do patellar, quadricep exercise regularly.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Ok and take care.
