Swelling Feet And Toes. Having Low BP. Taking Lasix. What Can I Do About This?

I am experiencing swelling in my feet and toes on a daily basis. Prior to October, I was taking high blood pressure medication, Toprol (bid) and a generic for Maxide (qdam). Since I quit my job as a Social Services Case Manager/Foster Care, June 2013, I have had no high blood pressure issues. If my bp is 120/70 or higher, I take my meds. Since October, I have been experiencing low bp, sometimes as low as 110/65. When my bp is this low, I only take a pill for water retention/Lasix. But, I'm still experiencing the swelling in my feet and toes. I elevate my feet during the day; when I go to sleep, the swelling goes down some; but, the next morning, once I get up and begin moving around, my feet begin to swell again. It makes it difficult to wear shoes. I am lethargic/have no energy. What can I do about this?

According to your history of illness ,may be due to .
1 Congestive heart failure , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination as well clinical examination , E K G and ECHO.
2 Hypoproteinaemia , diagnosis can be confirmed by estimation of protein level.
3 Chronic renal failure , as you mentioned that you were a known case of hypertension previously so chance of renal involvement can 't rule out. Get in MRI of kidney.
4 ANEMIA, diagnosis can be confirmed by hemoglobin level.
In my opinion deal according to above mentioned reason.
Good luck.
