Swelling In Knee, Painful, Got Kneecap Hit On Wall. Anything To Worry?

I just hit my knee cap really hard on the corner of the wall. It immediately swelled right in the spot where I hit it. I can't straighten my leg without a lot of pain and there is a hard, white colored knot on the upper right part of my knee cap. I put an ice pack on it and propped it up. It hurts to touch it at all. Should I just keep icing it or should I be more concerned

hi, you injured your knee joint and it following swelling. not able to strech the knee/locked knee. it looks like meniscal injury in the knee joint. please see your orthopedician for arthroscpy and repair for meniscus. all the best.
