Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Most probable reason of your wife pain is adductor muscles inflammation. This kind of inflammation gives symptoms like inguinal hernia (the pain is in the groin or a little bit lower). It appears after some exercises or lifting heavy objects. Resting and anti inflammatory medicines (Diclophenac would be very good for such inflammation) should help. MRI is also a good idea.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
