Swelling On Face, Fingers. Suffering From Hip Joint TB, High Sugar. Are Symptoms Related To TB Medicines?
Hi my mother has been diagnosed hip joint tuberclosis in january 2013 she is under treatment since then. last month her SGPT and uric acid value came very high and also she has developed high sugar now.
since last 2-3 days she has swelling on face, fingers and feet. I wanted to know whether it is related to TB medicines?

If tubercular treatment don't contain steroids, than there are no chances of any swelling over face, fingers or legs.
S G P T and uric acid values were very high , last month.
Blood sugar was also very high.
Don't blame any tubercular drugs , rather consult a physician and get in complete blood , sugar, C B C , UREA, LIPID PROFILES, CREATININE levels.
Ultrasound of abdomen is very necessary as it will reveal the exact condition of KIDNEYS of your mother.
