Swelling, Redness On The Area Of Bug Bite With Bruising, Difficulty In Walking. What Could Be The Cause?

Hello my boyfriend has a bug bite that turned red and is swollen around it. It feels like its bruised he says but there is no bruise. He says it hurts when he walks he can feel the pain from it. It feels warm a little bit. Was wondering if you know what it could be? Is it really bad or does he have to go see a doctor? Thank you.

Hi swelling and redness with bruise formation over the bug bite area and unable to walk can be due to infection caused in that area or due to embedded parts of bug inside.first remove any embedded parts .use antibiotic twice daily and anti inflammatory agent twice daily and application of flutibact ointment can cure the condition
