Hi,
if you HLA 27 positive, I suppose you should be having an autoimmune disease (rheumatoid arthritis, Systemic lupus erythematosus or other). The mainstay in the quality of life in patients with have this pathologies is a strict respect of treatment protocols prescribed and collaboration with your treating physician. With good compliance with appropriate drugs, treatment is usually tapered and at the end, the maintenance dose usually involves usually only one or two drugs. I ma afraid in some of these pathologies, patient might take some of the drugs for life, But with good compliance , a very small dose of such drugs is usually required.
Hope this helps,
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
