Swimmer. Having Shoulder Pain And Knots In Shoulder Back. What Are The Chances Of Tendonitis?

I am a swimmer and have terrible sholder pain . I know I have knots in the back of my sholder, and I ve went to the doctor and they said there was a chance I had tendonitis . The pain is unbareable. I can barely lift a glass of water. I know i need to stretch and keep good posture which I ve been working on for a while. Can you please help?

Hi,

Your doctor has rightly diagnosed you. You must discus with him about treatment. He may advise you educe pain and inflammation with rest, compression, elevation, and anti-inflammatory medicines such as naproxen, or ibuprofen. Ice may also be used. At-last he may advise your steroid injection in joint.

- Apply hot packs for 30 min in morning and evening .
