Swollen And Painful Shins After Being Hit By Bed 4 Wks Ago In A Person On Coumadin For Afib And History Of Blood Clot?

Hello , I bump my right shin on bed about four weeks ago , and my left one about three weeks ago both have been swollen since and getting more painfull .I am on Coumadin for afib and had a blood lot in my leg that wen t into my lung about 6years ago .thank you

I think you have injured your soft tissue in tibia but as you are walking there seems to be no bony injuries. You can take tablet like Brufen or combiflam for pain relief.Also you can apply warm water over swelling. Do not stand or walk for long time.You will recover in a week or two. Medication for AF and blood clotting prevent faster healing.
