Swollen Arm, Painful, Bleeding. Had Shoulder Surgery Yesterday. What Should Be Done?

hi. my daughter, age 52 had a broken sholder surgery yesterday morning and a plate put in. they sent her home today from the hospital. tonight her arm is swollen very much. her husband is keeping ice on it. is there any other things he sould be doing. at this iime. she is on pain meds and resting a little but her surgery is bleeding and needs bandage change soon.her husband is hesitate to call anybody.

hello.. thank you for choosing health care magic... well swelling may be for few days..it can be normal finding after surgery .. but bleeding is definately a problem... i will suggest you to go back to surgeon who did surgery as soon as possible..
