There is a possibility of having gingivitis as well.
These can be very well judged by clinical examination only.
Consult your dentist and get examined.
One course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines will give you relief.
Do antiseptic gargles.

1. Antibiotics are crucial here to fight the infection like Clavum 625 twice daily.

2. Painkillers like Aceclophenac & paracetamol are to be administered with antibiotics.

3. Avoid hot fomentation.

4. Use mouth rinse like Betadine which works locally against infection.

5. Regularly do mild mouth opening exercise to avoid trismus or spasm of muscles which is common problem after third molar infection.

After reading your history it appears that you have an impacted wisdom tooth.There could be infection around the growing wisdom teeth.

you can approach your dentist for a small dental x ray called as IOPA.Then if required you can go for removal of wisdom teeth.wisdom teeth is considered vestigial organ.

Therefore it is best to get it extracted without hesitation.

According to your clinical symptoms i suppose that you have developed infection around your wisdom tooth known as PERICORONITIS.
I would suggest you to visit to an Oral Surgeon and get the thorough checkup done, take an OPG radiograph of the region and plan for the removal of the tooth.
Take a course of antibiotics and analgesics under the prescription of your Dentist.
At home take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
