Swollen Lymph Node Behind Left Knee, Tightness In Ligaments, Joint Pain. Should I Be Worried?

I have a swollen lymph node, I think, behind my left knee. It feels rubbery but firm. I noticed it last night. I have had the tightness in my ligaments and pain in my joints for a few days but didn t care to massage it until right before I got in the shower. I have had no previous injury to it prior to finding this or before the pain started. I have had no fever, no nausea, slight diarrhea but nothing outrageous and mild stomach pain. Should I be worried?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello

I have studied your case.

As per your symptoms there is possibility of infection in leg leading to lymph node involvement.
You can start medication and antibiotic.

you need further investigation if symptoms are not decreasing after long period.
I will advise to do further blood investigation and FNAC of swelling should be done.
MRI scan can be done if clinically required.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
