Swollen Node On Collar Bone. Family History Of Hodgkins Lymphoma. Should I Take Biopsy?

2 months ago I discovered a swollen lymph node on my right collarbone. It is the size if a quarter. I had a ct scan and blood test all of which were normal. The node is still as large as it was. Is it normal to still have it after 2 months? my father had non hodgkins lymphoma at age 53. I recently turned 50. Would it be wise to get a biopsy?
Thanks!

hi there, a swollen lymph node in the collar bone area is not to be neglected and it would be wise to get an FNAC done before you go for a biopsy to rule out any other cause of swelling . It may not be a lymph node. Depending on the result of the FNAC you can opt for a biopsy accordign to your attending physicians advise. Do take care.
