Swollen Vagina, Redness, Painful. Taking Septra. Can I Use Vaseline In The Area?

I've been taking septra for 6 days, on the third saying woke up with my vagina swollen and red. It has been extremely painful. I went back to Dr on day 6 and he took me off of it and switched antibiotics. I'm still in severe pain, what's something I can take to ease it off some? And is it ok to put something on it like Vaseline to protect it when I urinate?

hi ,
thanks for the query.
you can probably use vaseline which works as a lubricant..it is much better to use xylocaine gel which gives u some anesthetic effect and releives pain.

drink plenty of water to aviod pain during urination n use some cold water to wash .
