TTC. Missed Periods. Prescribed Norlut-N To Get Periods. Suggest

Hi, my age is 24. .i got married this year by January 18th, being try to get pregnant for the past 8 months, but for the past two months i didn't get my periods, so i consulted a Gynac. she given me Norlut-N (6 tabs)to get my periods. When can i expect my periods. . . I was not irregular, but for the past two months i am facing this problem. . . Can you able to suggest.

Hi,

Let me see it clearer: You are saying that you are trying to get pregnant. Meanwhile, for the last 2 months, you had irregular periods, and doctor prescribed Norlut-N to get your periods?

Did your OG know that you are trying to get pregnant?

I would not recommend any of these drugs to my patients who are trying to conceive. Usually, such irregularities are related to the fact that uterus is trying to get ready for the pregnancy.

Next, why do need periods when you are trying to conceive? Periods are not present when you are pregnant:)

If your period missed from 2 months, get a pregnancy test to determine pregnancy and talk to your OG for that.
