Taken Cefaclor For Cold, Fever. Now Taken Ranitidine For Acidity. Have Loose Stools. Help
I am 45 years old one week ago I had a cold and temperature I went to a doctor and he prescribed antibiotics Cefaclor 500 mg, Emilora, Sinecod syrup. Now I am ok. As I have acidity problems occur sometimes (burning sensation in the stomach when I am hungry) I took only two days Ranitidine (Zantac) tab. But I have loose stool occuring (it started before I took this Ranitidine) now, that is two times in a day. Kindly send your reply

Since it is of recent onset, it is most likely to be due to infection.
A stool test may be done to confirm it.
Take probiotics.
Drink enough fluids to remain well hydrated.
