Taken Ibuprofen And Oxycontin For Cramps. Painful Lump On Back Of Head. Should I Be Worried?

I have had severe cramping the three days and just today got my period. I took ibuprofen which did nothing to help the cramps so I tried OxyContin for the pain and it barely helped at all. It's been one of the worst periods I've ever had and now I have a lump on the back of my head at the base of my skull that is very painful. Should I be worried?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The lump at the back of your head is not related to the muscle cramps that you are having. For the cramps, oral muscle relaxants need to be prescribed for relief. Lump needs a direct examination for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
