Taken Levonelle. Late Period. Negative Pregnancy Test. Reason?

I took levonelle last month after contraception failed ,and my period came about a week later and was normal,i also took about 4 pregnancy test all read negativeI then got some very light bleeding for a day or two 2 weeks later now my periods late , I have been sexually active but used protection is this can this be down to levonelle messing up my cycle , iv never been very regular or shall I consult my gp

Yes, it could be due to levonelle messing up your cycle.
It notoriously does this, so is best avoided, as a substitute to regular protection.
Having said this, there could be other causes such as anxiety, stress, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries etc.
It is best to consult your GP
