Its half life is around 36 hours, which means, it takes around 2-3 days to clear out of the system of the subject. Please dont worry and I would like to reassure you that there is absolutely no need for any concern at this moment. This is an expected reaction, and the sedation will fade away on its own within around next 8- 10 hours.
