Taken Anti-rabies Shot. Scratched By Dog S Teeth. No Blood Or Wound. Need To Worry?

I had scratch by dogs teeth last august 20. Good thing I went to an Animal Bite center to have my anti- rabies shot. My last rabies shot was August 27. I completed the 3 shots of anti rabies. My problem was that I was scratched again yesterday by my dogs teeth in my thumb . There s no blood and wound. So, do i need to worry? Should I have another anti rabies shot? My dog was not vaccinated.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Anti rabies shots are given on 0,3,7,14, 28 days."0" is considered as the first dose given. You have mentioned you have completed only three doses. I suggest you complete the course of vaccines. As it is a scratch, you do not have to worry much. Please get you dog vaccinated as soon as possible.
Thanks.
