Taken Antibiotics For Infected Implant. Nausea, Weakness. Urine Test Shows High Bilirubin. Infection?

Hi Dr. I recently (about a month ago) took antibiotics for an infected implant.(tooth) after I noticed that I had a UTI and I tried to let it go away on its own and it seemed to. the itching and discharges went away. about two weeks ago I started feeling naesous and very week to my stomach. this progressd to my imability to climb stairs I was so weak. I did a urine test that showed a high bilirubin, ast and alt. do you think I am still infected??

Hope you are doing good. Well the reports you mentioned are kind of confusing , Raised Bilirubin level indicates underlying liver disorder ( like viral hepatitis) . usually in UTI urine test will show pus cells. You should do LFTs ( Liver Function Test ) to get better idea. Simple Urine test wont give the better picture of high Bilirubin level. Haven't seen ast , alt in urine test.
