Taking 2 Tablets Of Ropinirole For Restless Legs. Changed Dosage To 1, No Issues. Is This Okay?
My husband takes 0.5 mg of ropinirole for restless legs. He used to take two a day but a couple of weeks ago he started taking only one and he was doing fine. He had no symptoms of RLS. Now he wants to try and stop taking it all together and see if the RLS stays away. But the instructions say do not suddenly stop taking the medicine. Is it okay to take one every other day for a week or so and then go every two days or is there another way he should go to stop taking it all together?

Hi, it appears that he has to use the pills for longer time. He is fine because there will be some residual medicine in the circulation. I advise you to continue with one tablet for atleast one month and then can try to have half a tablet a day. Then half a tablet once in 2 days.
