Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Every antibiotic affects our natural intestines bacteria. This bacteria protects us from bad bacteria and are extremely important for proper bowels function.

When taking antibiotics again and again, you select bacteria. It leads to the situation where only the most resistant (and hardest to eradicate) survives. And most likely this has happen to you.

To improve your intestines condition you should establish what kind of bacteria is causing your problem. To do that, stool culture tests should be done at first. This test will tell which antibiotic will be the most effective.
You should also start taking probiotics (for few months). Discuss Rifaximine (a very special antibiotics for such problems) treatment with your doctor.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
