Taking Klonopin Long-term For Anxiety Disorder. Panic After Stopping Medicine. Reason?

Hello, I was taking Klonopin for 8 1/2 years for anxiety disorder, I stopped taking it about 3 months ago, I tried to stop using it gradually, I did not feel any withdrawal symptoms the first 2 1/2 months, but the last few weeks I have been going though some very high panic/anxiety disorder, is there a reason I did not feel this right after my stopped use of the medication?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

As you have stopped medication gradually and there was no withdrawal symptoms in immediate time, chances of withdrawal symptoms are less.
Your symptoms could be relapse of anxiety disorder.

Consult your psychiatrist for your anxiety problem and discuss about treatment
