Hi I take the pill loestrin 20 I'm not the best at making sure I take it on time every day. I usually get my period on the 4th pill free day every month without fail however this month I had a show of blood the day after I stopped taking my pill which wasn't even enough for a small tampon after a couple of hours i noticed it had completely stopped and I've had nothing show up since. Hello ma'am.

It is common to have menstrual irregularities whilst on contraceptive pills, which is why I wouldn't worry much about this presentatiin unless it recurs.

Of coursebai would request you ro conduct a home pregnancy test just to rule out pregnancy which could also be the cause for such a presentation. Go about the test at least 2 weeks from your last sexual encounter, using an early morning urine sample.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
