Taking Measacol For IBD. Itching, Swollen Abdomen, Breathing Problem, Headache After Taking Pegmove. Help

Dear Dr. I have been patient of IBD for last 3years and taking measacol but my problem subsides and felling good by four months as doctors stopped to take medicine as I was having severe headache,at present I was having severe constipation for which doctor suggested to take PEGMOVE at night by 1 months and 20days at present I am Having severe itching,swellen abdomen,chest,face,breathing problem and headache,I stopped the Pegmove by 6 days back,but itcing problem solved but other persists as severe headache,swellen abdomen,face,chest,breathin problem.Doctor please help to get out of this problem.

MOST OF THE ADVERSE EFFECTS ARE RELATED TO USE OF MESACOL.
It is a very safe drug but sometimes may cause such problems.
It is appropriate that you have stopped the medicines.
I would advise you to visit your gastroenterologist who will know a substitute drug for IBD, a pack of which are available in markets and will also prescribe you with anti allergic medicines which will help you out with the allergic manifestations.
