Taking Prednisone For Idiopathic AIHA. How Long For Prednisone To Work?

Hello, I have warm type idiopathic AIHA. I am currently on 60mg prednisone per day to try and treat it. It has been three weeks on the drugs and I have been back to the hospital for two blood transfusions as my numbers go up after the transfuions, then seem to drop. Two questions: How long will it take for the prednisone to work (my numbers are on their way down again 103 sunday, 96 yesterday) Will having my period affect my numbers (as I m expecting it soon). Will my numbers drop faster?

Hi, auto immune hemolytic anemia, is the auto immune, and predictions are difficult to rely. There are studies that the laproscopic splenectomymay be reliable to a great extent.
I advise you to take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and proteine rich foods. Thank you.
