Hello. I am a 36 year old female that was prescribed Tizanidine 4mg. I read that you should not take this medication if you are also taking Luvox. I take 200 mg of Luvox CR daily. I have been having symptoms of extreme dizziness when standing (mild dizziness while sitting), very loud ringing in my ears, "black out" sort of tunnel vision that has not resulted in fainting or passing out, however w/ the tunnel vision I also see a lot of blue dots and "stars." I plan on not taking any more of the Tizanidine because of the disruptive manner of my side effects since taking Tizanidine, but my question is whether or not I should seek medical assistance or wait until the medicine clears out of my symptom. I have not experienced any hives or swelling, however I do have high blood pressure and was told Wednesday that my heart is only functioning at 86%. Additionally, I have noticed unclear thinking while trying to type this message, but I do not know if that is just part of the side effects of the medication. Thank you for your help.
