Taking Benecar For Hypertension. Swelling In The Groin Area. IS This Serious?
I am a 73 year old healthy male with no medical problems except controlled high blood pressure. I take Benecar Hct 40/12.5 once daily. I have slight swelling on the inside of my upper thigh near the groin. There is no obvious skin irritation and no rash or discoloration, But it stings slightly and itches something fierce, The condition appeared spontaneously about 2 days ago and the symptoms have remained constant. At first, I thought it was a chigger bite, but no bump has appeared. As time goes by and I have grown more familiar with it, it seems that the itch is below the skin. Could it be serious?
