What Is The Cause Of Itches With Bumps All Over The Body?

Yesterday I came home from work with itching hands and around my knees. The more I scratch small bumps arise and look like a chigger bite or small ant bite and the itch terribly. Benadryl spray provides some relief, but if clothing or shoes provide any pressure the itch begins again. I do my own yard and have for years and have never had this problem before. The bumps or rash seem to migrate around, but the largest ones continue to remain and continue to itch. I know have areas of irritation on my stomach, arms, ankles, and lower back. Any ideas?

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itches with bumps all over the body which could to be due to allergic reaction, bed bug bites, environmental factors, contact dermatitis and eczema.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain proper hygiene and take antihistamines like benadryl. Avoid applying any cosmetic and apply only petroleum jelly . Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order skin test or allergy test along with blood test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory and corticosteroid ointment .
