Taking Celebrex Daily. Head Spins In The Morning, Having Dizzy Spells And Lost Weight. Side Effect?

Iam taking 200mg of celebrex daily, Often when i wake of a morning I feel as if I am on a merry go round, the room spin,s around and I need to shut my eye,s until it stop,s, I am also having dizzy spell,s during the day,my appitite is not good and I have lost about 6kg,s in the last 4 month,s. Do you think it might be the celebrex.

Hi Dawn Carman, Thanks for using HCM.

Every morning once you got up feeling as if on a merry go round, the room spin's around and also dizzy spells. This may be due to causes like low BP (postural), hypoglycemia and low Hb. Since you also have history of loosing 6 KG weight in 4 months you require complete evaluation like BP, complete hemogram, stool and urine microscopy, LFT, RFT, sugar level and chest xray once to diagnose the problem. Celebrex may cause dizziness but all the reported symptoms may not be due to it. Read the adverse effect drug leaf let for more information on it. Consult your doctor for examination and management.
