Hello
Thank you for placing your query on Health Care Magic
There are two main possibilities in your condition
1. More likely you are suffering from anal fissures. These are small cracks on the sides of the anal opening due to passage of hard stools. When these heal they form skin tags. These cracks are usually painful while defecation
2. Prolapsed piles (with thrombosis) Piles are dilated veins in the anal region. They are prolapsed if they are coming out. But they are usually painless and they pain only when they are thrombosed (blood is clotted inside them) or they are external piles (a variety where the piles are outside).
My suggestion would be
1. Consult a surgeon. These are not conditions you should ignore. And you should get a proper diagnosis.
2. Avoid constipating diet. Avoid refined flour and junk food. Take a lot of fluids. Fruits and vegetables with lots of fibres also help.
3. Sitz bath: sit in luke warm water for 5-10 min min as many times possible in the day (at least twice: morning and evening). It helps relieve the pain in both conditions.
4. Proper laxatives
5. If its fissures, then certain ointments will be prescribed to reduce the tone and pain in the anal region.
6. Finally if it is very severe you may require some sort of surgery (anal dilatation for fissures and MIPH for piles if present). That is why it is important to be in touch with a surgeon for this problem
Hope that helps
God bless you
