Taking Medication For Bronchitis. High Body Temperature. Pregnancy Test Negative. Due To Medication?

Hi there I m currently tracking my menstral cycle nd BBT . I m now 10 days late for my period and my temp has remained higher than normal. I have been on medication as I m getting over bronchitis and have done 3 home tests, they have all said negative. Could I be getting a false negative result because of medication ? Thanks

Hi !
Pregnancy test becomes positive based on the hormone beta Hcg levels that increases during pregnancy. Medication like clomiphene citrate, infertility treatment drugs can give false positive results. Usually most of the time urine pregnancy tests are accurate if done twice.
No medications can interefere with the pregnancy tests to give false negative tests. so, you are not pregnant, if urine test is done correctly.
