Taking Physiotherapy For Disc Herniation In Lumbar Disc. How To Get Rid Of The Pain?

hi I am suffering with disc herniation my lumbar disc between L5-S1 is bulged out and having severe nerve pain from my right buttock to right feet. numbness is there in my right feet and external part of right calf muscle . I am under going physiotherapy (traction for 30 min every day). pls suggest if physiotherapy can help me in this disc extrusion?

Thanks for posting your query.

I understand you have back pain . You are suffering from PIVD where the nerves get compressed by the protruded disc..
There are several treatment modalities with medicines, physiotherapy and with injections in the back called epidural injections and root/facet blocks.
If you dont get better with these treatment , surgery is a option, by which the nerves are decompressed by removing the protruded disc (discectomy), which would significantly improve your symptoms
