This has been getting worse for the last 2 years. If I raise my arms up above my head they fall asleep. If I squat my legs fall asleep. If I bend my elbows my hands fall asleep. Usually aching also occurs in hips, knees, shoulders and elbows in conjunction to bending these joints. I have neck pain as well in c4 to c6 area. Waiting for new insurance to kick in Jan 1 for MRI. Its uncomfortable and annoying but not PAIN per say. No stiffness in any joints though. I have orthostatic hypotension issues and GERD. Significant family history includes colon cancer on my paternal side. My great grandmother and 31 year old brother have RA. Lab test for several years now are relatively normal. Occasionally low H&H, but very mild. My eosinophils are also always just slightly elevated. I asked about this once but was told it was probably hay fever. Only problem is, I ve never had any issues with allergies of any sort. I was put on meloxicam, skelaxin, and tramodol. None of which seemed to do any good. I am on prednisone for a 10 day taper now, and as always...I feel great on it.
