Taking Synthroid. Should I Wait After Taking Ibuprofen To Get A Blood Work?
i ve been on synthroid for 6 weeks and am due for f/u tests of tsh , t3, t4. i had surgery last week, and am taking percoset and ibuprofen . i found an endo paper that says that ibu does not affect thyroid function tests , and am wondering about the percoset, which i discontinued yesterday. should i wait a while to get the bloodwork? i dont want anything interfering with accurate thyroid function testing because these values will be used to further titrate my synthroid does if necessary.

To my knowledge even percoset should not affect your lad results.It may affect blood sugar levels but not thyroid hormone levels.
