Tear In Ligaments, Dislocation Of Patella, Fracture In Condyle, Fractured Femur Bone, When Can I Walk Post Rod Fixing Surgery ?

hi.. i met with an accident in which i got the ligaments of left knee torn with dislocation of patella and fracture in condyle. In the same lag the femur was also fractured. a rod is fixed in my femur 2 months back and all the repair is done on knee. till then i m on knee brace. i wish to know how much more time will it take me to walk?

Prithvi, it may take 3 months. Till such time you should do non weight bearing exercises.
You can visit your surgeon after one month for review & progress.
