Teenager. Has Mosaic Downes With Autism. Severe Constipation, Wetting Of Bed Due To Intake Of Alpine Tea. Advice

My daughter is 18 now and has Mosaic Downes with Autism plus a constipation issue which has been inherited. I have seen the doctor and have tried many. I'm using Alpine tea which is helping but it is also causing her to wet the bed since she has had severe constipation issues. The constipation issue is sorted with Alpine Tea, but I wonder if you are allowed to stay on this for a long time!! How do I stop her retaining urine. I take her to the toilet regularly, but sometimes can't. I need some help as this is becoming a problem!!

Hi, it appears that the alpine tea might be causing some changes in the brain, and hence bed wetting, or may be related to the sphincter of the bladder. If it is the case if you use some thing to controle sphincter anal sphinter also will be closed, result in constipation again.
So i advise you to use some purgatives, like bisacodyl.
