Tender Armpit, No Swelling. Bruising On The Bicep. Should I Be Worried?

Hi, my left armpit has been tender to touch for a couple of days but no swelling . I woke up this morning with the same feeling on the inside of my bicep running to my elbow . As the day has gone on brusing has appeared along the area. I have not done anything manual for a week and have not hurt myself. Is this anything I should be concernrd with. Thanks

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms you have could be due to tendonitis or an inflammation around the shoulder joint. You need to give rest to the arm and take a mild pain killer for relief. In case the bruising increases or there is swelling then consulting an orthopedician is recommended.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
