Tender, Bruised Shin, Ankle And Foot. History Of Hard Hit On Shin. Blood Clot?
Two weeks ago my husband hit his shin very hard at work. The area was very tender, even taking his breath away when he bumped it. It is still very tender and bruised very badly. The bruise did not appear right away. It took a week or more for the bruise to appear and now the bruise has even shown up on his ankle and foot. Is this a blod clot?

Vascular status should also be assessed.
