Tender Nodules On Arm, Soreness In Joints, Not Obese, ANA Test Negative, Sarcoidosis
I am a NP adn I a co-worker of mine (another NP)- asked me to assess the multiple nodules she has. She states that she has seen multiple MDs, r/t to that and other symptoms: here are a list of her symptoms (do you have any ideas)? small palpable, movable, and tender nodules in her arms,abd, and thighs. The lower forarm one are smaller and seem to follow the lymph track, as do the abd ones- but the upper arm and outer thigh ones do not. They come and go. She also states that all her joints are sore . She is about 10-15 lbs over wt- but not obese . Eats very healthy. ANA test neg- but states she was told she has the sarcoidosis trait- but not the d/o

It cannot be commented upon like this , multiple nodules can be because of lipomatosis or neurofibromatosis.That the treating doctor will be able to explain.
