The Current TSh Level Is 9.38 Which Was 8.1 Earlier?

I had my thyroid removed about one month ago. TSH level was at 8.1 three weeks out and currently at 9.38 about five weeks out. I am very tired, depressed, gaining weight, loss of concentration, etc. I am on a synthroid .112 mcg. I don t understand if the higher number means I am hypo thyroid and need a higher dose of medication. I am just confused how the higher number works...I was told the TSH needs to be around 1 or 2.

The normal range of TSH is 0.2 to 5.0 micro international units per ml. As TSH level is increased from 8.1 to 9.38, the drug dosage sholud be changed.
