Hello Doc, My Thyroid profile suggests as below: T3-4.4/T4-1.02/TSH 3rd Generation-10.59, in addition to this T. cholesterol-174.8/HDL-47.34, Triglycerides-99.85/VLDL-20/LDL-107.5. Plus my Urea is slightly less than reference rate suggested, 12.7 I am not sure what does this report suggests, plus I have heard that once you start taking thyroid medicines it lasts life long. 1. Please start hormone therapy as prescribed, it needs to be taken once a day on empty stomach in the mprning. It needs to be taken atleast for six months.
2. Please ensure that you are on Iodized salt.
3. Avoid cabbage completely.
