Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

As your son is having cold and cough, it should be evaluated properly to find out the cause for the symptoms. It is very important to make proper diagnosis because acute respiratory tract infection as it may delays the milestones.

As your doctor as prescribed antibiotics for your son for the previous ailments and he has developed cold and cough once again.

As you have asked regarding giving brandy you should not give this as it may leads to irritation of the gastric mucosa and it may worsen the condition. If it is a viral infection it will come down by itself.

I would suggest you to give Syp Bricarex and Syp T Minic, it will improve your son condition.
Thank you.
