Toddler Having Recurring Red Dots On Legs, Arms, Chest, No Pus Or Itching. What Could It Be?
Hi, my baby is about a year and a half, and I ve been noticing little red dots on her legs, arms, back and chest . There s no puss or liquid and it just comes and goes. It doesn t seem to bother her at all, she doesn t scratch it or anything. We re using some creams for her body but its only helping a little bit. I ve done some research on it and I cant really find anything that specifically says what she has.
Though you have mentioned that the red dots come and go on your daughter you have not mentioned the duration for which these dots last. As they do not hurt her I suggest that you should discuss with your doctor and request that the following investigations be performed:
1. Hess test also known as tourniquet test.
2. Haemogram especially platelet count.
3. Bleeding profile.
The clinical examination and/or investigations should lead you to some diagnosis and remedy of the problem.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
